LPDC Inmate Visitation Rules
All visits are limited to one (1) adult visitor, 15 minutes and no contact.
Minor visitors (17 and under) must be accompanied by an adult. Small children cannot be left unattended anywhere on LPDC premises, including the lobby and visitors’ vehicles. A Deputy may request to see identification of older minor visitors to verify age.
Saturday & Sunday visitation registration begins at 7:45 AM and ends at 9:45 AM. The last sign-in for registration is at 9:30 AM.
Dress code and rules:
- Current / valid photo ID is required.
- All visitors are subject to search and a warrant check.
- Clothing must be appropriate for a large gathering of men, women and young children. The wearing of inappropriate clothing may result in the denial of visitation, whether in person or via kiosk.
The following items are not permitted:
- Revealing shorts
- Halter tops
- See-through garments of any type
- Low-cut blouses/dresses
- Hats or caps
- Pants below the waist
- Jackets/sweaters/hoodies
- Skirts more than 2 inches above the knee
- Dresses or skirts with a high cut split in back, front or side
- Clothing that looks like inmate clothing (khaki, bright orange or military type)
- Sundresses
- Bathing suits
- Crop tops
- Spandex
- Backless tops
- Sleeveless garments
All guests are expected to remain quiet, orderly and dignified. A Deputy can ask visitor(s) to leave if either the visitor or the inmate is behaving inappropriately.
