Financial Tax Collector Office
The Finance / Tax Collector Office is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions of the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office. There are three main divisions in the office:
- Civil Division, which handles all seizures of foreclosed property ordered by the courts, garnishments, attachments, fieri facias, sequestrations and writ of possessions. The division also handles the sale of seized property.
- Criminal Division, which is responsible for the collection and distribution of fines and tickets resulting from various traffic and misdemeanor offenses as ordered by the Parish courts and the 3rd Judicial District Court.
- Tax Division, which is responsible for the collection and distribution of property taxes.
Where is the Tax Collector’s Office located?
We are located on the Ground Floor of the Lincon Parish Courthouse at 100 West Texas Avenue. Enter through the main Courthouse entrance on the South side of the building, then take the elevator down. Take two right turns and you should see the blue “Tax Collector” sign on your right.

What hours are you open?
- Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Closed on Weekends and most State Holidays
Please note that we do close for a short time (generally 15 minutes or less) around 3:30 each day to balance our books.
