How Do I Submit a Public Records Request

A Public Information Request per LA RS Title 44 – Louisiana Public Records Law – may be obtained by sending a written request to Records Request, PO Box 2070, Ruston, LA 71273, or by emailing records@lpsheriff.org.  

Requests should include pertinent information about the records being requested including the names of parties involved, date and time of the incident, and any other identifying information.  The cost for information requested will depend upon quantity, time involved in production of records, and format.
